What a Great Summer!

It started with the 2011 Leadership Course in Yorkshire/London, then it moved onto the Road to Gender Equality in Macedonia, then to Manchester for another youth led Leadership course, then a Rural Inclusion project back in Macedonia. These projects have involved over 260 young people and adults travelling to and from 6 different countries. Phew!!!!

All of the programmes have involved different countries coming together to explore current issues and find solutions to problems that need addressing. Many adults have been blown away by what has been achieved and the ripple effect of this summer will be felt for years to come.

Many young people have been empowered to go out and change their communities and work together across countries to do this. This is what it is all about active participation, empowerment, inclusion and education, 4 cornerstones of Momentum’s work. The glue which links these cornerstones together is called BELIEF & HAVING FUN.

As the Creative Director of Momentum I feel proud of what we have achieved this summer and I know this is just the start. Thanks to all the wider Momentum Team and other organisations who have worked in partnership with us to make a difference, you know who you are!!!
