We are particularly interested in working with schools or other groups who have limited previous experience of international projects, in order to develop their capacity in this area.
We are also available to coach informal groups of young people wishing to start their own international youth initiatives.
Our Approach
We design bespoke packages to the requirements of each client. We appreciate the importance of understanding the social and cultural context of every country and group we work with, and we do not assume that what works for one place or one group will necessarily work for another. We also expect to broaden our own minds through contact with other countries and cultures.
We encourage mutual benefit: sharing and developing knowledge and expertise is not a one-way process – the best projects are those where everyone involved learns from each other.
We promote a youth and community work approach: engaging young people, and the staff supporting them, is they key to developing a successful project. When appropriate, we include young people as assistant members of our project teams.
We ensure that there are tangible outcomes for any client or beneficiary organisation, in terms of pilot projects or new, concrete examples of youth participation. Every project or training programme should have something to showcase as a result.
