‘Why Am I Here?’
The Momentum International Leadership Course aims to explore the answers to the above questions by bringing a wide range of young people together for 8 days and pushing them to reach their full potential.
4 short films were produced showing young people from this year’s course, they each speak about their lives and share the journey they went on with Momentum in July 2011. 3 of the films have been release so far.
This was the first film to be released in the series and it focuses on Anna Dageretzis, a young person from Germany who is pushing herself to be more confident. The short film explores what motivates her and what steps she is taking to develop herself, including organising a live music event at the O2 arena.
Allow us to introduce Goran Boshkovski from Skopje, Macedonia. Goran talks about his hopes for the future and shares a bit about what his motivations are. The Momentum Leadership Course took Goran on a very interesting journey over the summer and it is clear the experiences will stay will him for many years to come.
Jordan came across our course via Twitter (@Momentumlive) and it is fair to say life in the Nebraska, USA is very different to life in the UK. It was her chance to find out about others cultures and languages to celebrate the differences. Understanding life in the American Midwest was a revelation for many on the course.
Tess is a teacher working in a Special School based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. As a participant on this year’s International Leadership Course she provided inspiration and a different perspective of disability issues for other participants to explore.
