Leadership Film No.4 – Tess Meaker

Tess is a teacher working in a Special School based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

As a participant on this year’s International Leadership Course she provided inspiration and a different perspective of disability issues for other participants to explore.

Tess’s life has been shaped around her families work with disability and this motivated her to become a teacher herself. Across Europe disability education varies and this was a chance for 24 young people to come together to explore this and make their own informed decision about the subject.

Momentum is building a long term relationship with Tess’s school and our aim is to develop a connection with a like minded school in Europe where exchanges can begin to take place.

This is Tess’s story about what experience the leadership course gave her.
